The Schrier Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program began as an opportunity for new Physical Therapist of Schrier to quickly develop their clinical and reasoning skills in orthopedic and manual therapy. Dr. Jamey Schrier's mission is to create a company in line with the APTA's vision 2020 of having a minimum standard of clinical competences, and mastery of clinical excellence in diagnostics, reasoning, and treatments, as well as mentorship that is difficult to find in todays healthcare environment. The ultimate goal of the Residency Program is to prepare new employees for the OCS certification.

The Goals of the Orthopedic PT Residency Program:

• Allow each of our patients access to the most highly trained therapist who use the most current evidence based physical therapy care in the Washington Metro area.
• Elevate the standard of treatment of the staff a Schrier Therapist.
• Serve the profession of physical therapy through training highly skilled musculoskeletal practitioners in accordance with the APTA's vision 2020.
• Recruit highly motived staff to support the expansion of Schrier Physical Therapy.
• Increase the number of clinical mentors and educators for future physical therapy residents.
